Athletes love to claim that they don't hear the noise. They also enjoy reacting to the noise that they ignore.
Tyreek Hill, a Dolphins receiver, has spent a lot of time on his podcast responding to the noise surrounding quarterback Tua tagovailoa. Jaylen Waddle (Dolphins receiver) defends Tua and offers a conspiracy theory about what caused the most criticism during the 2022 offseason.
Hill stated, "It's going to be a lot people taking their word back on what they had said about Tua." Julius Collins, Hill's co-host, tried to get Hill name names.
Hill stated, "Reporters and analysts, Twitter trolling," "All those people will take back their words about [Tua]!" Hill said. "I'm going to be there eating my popcorn."
It is easy to forget that the Dolphins posted a clip of Tua Underthrowing Hill on social media. Hill seems to believe that the Dolphins deliberately posted that clip.
Hill stated that he believes they showed the clip of Tua throwing him to get people talking. "Because they know for sure what Tua is capable of."
Hill believes that the Dolphins posted a clip of Tua slamming Hill to get people talking. It worked. Hill believes that those who took the bait that was intentionally baited them by the Dolphins should be able to regain the words they were prompted to speak.
All the talk about Tua only serves to increase attention and pressure on his 2022 plans. Hill is also aware that Tua will be in control of his fate in 2022, whether he likes it or not.
Hill stated that the NFL only gives you two to three years to become a successful quarterback, particularly if you are a first-round draft pick. Hill said, "And if it doesn't work out after those years, it's just kick rocks." They're going to place Tua in that. This is his last year.
Hill said that Tua is the most accurate. This is it. There are no excuses. He has the support of his team. If he fails to get it done, the Dolphins could become the most desirable destination for a veteran quarterback in 2023. This could be Tom Brady, Lamar Jackson or anyone else who decides to look after 2022.
