Ugitech, the largest private employer in Savoie with over 1,200 employees, suffered a devastating accident in January that resulted in production being shut down at its steel mill, and significant disruptions to his other workshops.

Ugitech, the largest private employer in Savoie with over 1,200 employees, suffered a devastating accident in January that resulted in production being shut down at its steel mill, and significant disruptions to his other workshops.

On June 20, the company put in service its first overhead crane at its steelworks. A full restart of activity is planned for later this year.

Ugitech is currently recruiting to prepare for the takeover. On Thursday, July 7, Ugitech will host a job dating event. It is open to all. Bring your CV and a motivation letter.

Ugitech is seeking 30 temporary positions for September: forklift drivers and maintenance specialists (mechanics and electricians), masons. 25 permanent positions are needed: maintenance specialists (machinists and boilermakers, mechanics and methods), automation, industrial IT engineer and metrology and instrumentation technicians. Cyber security engineer, security specialist, export sales assistant, and security engineer are all other possible roles. ; and ten students enrolled in work-study programs at Ugine Bourg-enBresse, Imphy: safety, stainless-steel market manager, management controllers, industrial process maintenance, quality technician, machinist and boilermaker.
