Val Cenis. Savoie: A call for witnesses to locate a missing Octogenarian

Daniele Herbulot (81), has been missing since Thursday, July 7, at 5:05 p.m., while she was hiking in Lanslebourg, in Haute-Maurienne. Her husband lost track and alerted the Gendarmerie immediately. The octogenarian, who is used to walking and not being suicidal since 2008, has suffered from Alzheimer's for eight years. The 1.57m tall octogenarian was dressed in a long-sleeved red checked shirt with a hat and purple hiking backpack. He also had two walking sticks. She is a resident of Aussois, and knows the area well.

Since Thursday afternoon, significant human and helicopter resources (gendarmerie, CRS Alpes) were deployed to locate her. The Gendarmerie de la Savoie does not have any information to help locate it.
