On Friday, July 8, many brush fires were observed in Vaucluse at the end the day.
Around 7:15 p.m., Avignon was the first to witness the incident, with a hectare worth of vegetation going up in smoke. Three fire engines responded quickly. No homes were affected.
Similar to the 300 m2 of bush that was burned in Lagarde-Pareol. To prevent any recovery, firefighters are still on the scene at both locations.
