Vip Vip, hooray!: News from the Wendler world of censorship

Greetings with wife Laura, a blocked Instagram account and maybe a new album: Michael Wendler is back on Twitter and immediately announces the consequences. The advocates for the free speech fighter are already in the starting blocks. That can be fun!

"After a few hours, Instagram blocked my account for no reason at all," says Michael - Michi - Wendler and adds: "Christmas greetings were probably enough for a block. Now it's enough! My lawyers will now take action against Instagram."

This is the last celebrity column of 2022. Who would have thought that there would be so much to laugh about at the end of the old year? Of course, only if you, dear readers, have not been among the “long-term dead” that Wendler has been conjuring up since September, about which “Michi” once urgently warned on his Telegram channel.

Everything could have been so peaceful. The Schlager bard, whose Instagram account was closed a long time ago because of mental low-flying and who has since had to struggle through the gates of Meta as a so-called “freedom fighter”, has managed to return to the platform. It's just crazy! The man takes on the difficult procedure of registering or re-registering just to wish us all a Merry Christmas - together with his Laura, of course. Without further ado, the pet accounts of the cute mutts had to serve - admittedly a stroke of genius.

But hey presto, it wasn't long before the Che Guevara among the aluminum hat faction was peppered out with an octagon! Why? Because the Bild newspaper, the old snitch, blackened him with the landlord in Silicon Valley.

In a message, the once again peppered out says: "Instagram still tramples on the freedom of expression anchored in the Basic Law. Once again I'm showing Germany and the world how disgusting and dangerous a world with censorship is."

Of course, it should not go unmentioned at this point that Wendler is absolutely right when he says that "a world with censorship" is a dangerous one. And of course, it's pure hypocrisy for Instagram to kick out people who don't approve, while at the same time fraudulent accounts are growing faster than the market for visage-filtering apps. But because Instagram has the domiciliary rights, you don't have to get upset about it again and again.

Nevertheless, I would like to emphasize at this point how glad I am not to be one of "the long-term dead" that Prof. Dr. dr Wendler has urgently warned. Otherwise I wouldn't have known that the Cape Coral freedom fighter had expanded his social media activities. Loosely based on Arnold's Terminator, we can solemnly announce here and now: He's back! "Michi" is back on Twitter! And because he's a leader, he naturally follows - nobody.

All those who do not have an account with Telegram can finally enjoy being supplied with fresh Wendler information again. He already tweeted that he might release a new album in the new year. However, the 50-year-old left open whether this was a wish, a suggestion or a threat.

Thank God the "Michis" social media accounts act as independent sources of information with very high news value. Thanks to the "Egal" interpreter, we now know that "the wind has changed" and the weather is "artificially manipulated". According to Oracle Michael, the Bundeswehr is also partly to blame for the whole dilemma about “climate change not caused by humans”!

But since Christine Lambrecht took the squad under her wing, there should be hope again. "Michi" knows that too and promptly steals the saying from Nina Ruge: "Everything will be fine." Dear readers, I wish you a peaceful new year. May the good news in 2023 pop through the ceiling like champagne corks!
