The Warriors Origins jersey, which is a modern-era version of the 1961-62 team uniform on the road, was the 16th and last season the team played in Philadelphia before the team moved to the West Coast. The Warriors also unveiled today a 75th anniversary logo, which will be used throughout the 2021-22 NBA seasons.
Warriors Origins commemorates the 16-year history of the Warriors in Philadelphia. This included two NBA championships (1947 and 1956) as well as several league records that still hold today. The highlight is Wilt Chamberlain’s 100-point win on March 2, 1962 against the New York Knicks.
The NBA celebrates its 75th anniversary with this season. Along with the New York Knicks and the Boston Celtics, the Warriors are the only three remaining charter members of the NBA. The Warriors are one of the most successful teams in NBA history, having won six (6) NBA championships and producing 27 Hall of Famers. They also set many all-time NBA records (both individual and team).
Golden State will unveil the Warriors Origins jersey during the 2021-22 team's home opener. A later date will be announced with the 2021-22 schedule.

The Warriors 75th Anniversary logo represents the team's diamond birthday and models the shapes found on the outside of Oracle Arena (now Oakland Arena), where they spent 47 of their first 75 seasons.
The Warriors Origins jersey was unveiled alongside a court with the accompanying logo for the 75th anniversary. To complement the five jersey editions, the 75th anniversary logo of the team will be featured on each of the three court designs. The Warriors' 2021-22 uniform set includes five jerseys. These include the Classic Edition (Origins), Statement (The Bay), Icon, and Association (home-white) jerseys. The 2021-22 City Edition jersey will be unveiled by the Warriors later in the fall.
