Weather: Train traffic in the Hanover area affected

In the Hanover area, train passengers had to prepare for delays and cancellations on Wednesday evening. This was announced by Deutsche Bahn. The reasons for this were, among other things, a field fire and a switch that was expanded due to heat, as a spokesman for the railway informed. In the meantime, there had been a line closure and a fire brigade operation due to a field fire next to the tracks between Minden and Bückeburg. Train services resumed here later in the evening.
