With neon colors on Venice Beach: Ryan Gosling goes skating with Barbie

Many fans are already looking forward to the upcoming film with Ryan Gosling and Margot Robbie as iconic dolls. Pictures from the shooting now give a foretaste of the "Barbie" strip: the neon-colored actors cause a stir on Venice Beach.

This sight causes amazement and possibly a little shaking of the head: Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling once again give a foretaste of their upcoming "Barbie" film. The two actors were photographed in colorful 80s looks while filming on Venice Beach in Los Angeles.

Robbie, who plays the iconic cult doll, beamed in a hot pink ensemble of skin-tight cycling shorts and a tie-dye swimsuit. Ken actor Gosling slipped into a matching swim trunks, pink shirt and vest combo. Both also wore caps and neon yellow knee and elbow pads as they rolled down the promenade on inline skates.

Warner Bros. Pictures has announced that the live-action adaptation will be released in summer 2023. In addition to Robbie and Gosling, a host of other stars will star in the film. Featuring Will Ferrell, Kate McKinnon, America Ferrera, Issa Rae, Michael Cera and Simu Liu, among others. The screenplay was penned by Greta Gerwig and her partner Noah Baumbach. Gerwig also directs.

A picture of Margot Robbie had already been published in April. This showed the Australian actress at the wheel of a pink convertible. "I think it's a great opportunity to bring something positive into the world and a chance to be a role model for younger kids," Margot said in an interview with US magazine Variety.
