The Slovak Minister of education, Branislav Gröhling is accused to have when graduating from law school, plagiarism was committed. His master's thesis from the year 2009 have joined the politicians to a large extent simply from other to Work together, and these sources are not clearly cited, reported the liberal daily newspaper "Dennik N" on Monday online. On the same day, Sme came ".sk" on the basis of text examples to the conclusion: "That it has depreciated, is to be seen at first glance."
On Tuesday afternoon, reflected the liberal Minister spoke in a press conference and pointed back calls back. His diploma thesis was "no masterpiece", but it complied with the then applicable internal regulations of his College. Gröhling had studied at a small private University in Bratislava.
The conservative head of government Igor Matovic told journalists that he did not want to lose Gröhling as a Minister. However, he also pointed out that, of all things, Gröhling was commissioned by the government, new rules to prevent counterfeit products to introduce. This order had been given Gröhling only last week, in response to several plagiarism scandals of leading politicians. "Perhaps he finds such a scheme, which costs him his title," said Matovic to journalists.
