A13 motorway: partial reopening in the province-Paris direction planned for Friday May 10

The portion of the A13 motorway located between the Paris ring road and the A86, closed since April 18, will be reopened to light vehicles on one lane in the province-Paris direction from Friday May 10, announced Tuesday 7 May the Hauts-de-Seine prefecture.

The work undertaken allows "the reopening of traffic, from Friday May 10 afternoon, on a single lane of traffic", explains the prefecture in a press release in which it specifies that "the ban on heavy goods vehicles is maintained". The prefecture had previously mentioned a partial reopening on Saturday.

In the Paris-province direction, on the other hand, “a prospect of reopening to traffic is envisaged at the end of June”, adds the same source. The planned works notably involve opening the roadway to a depth of almost five meters.

The Hauts-de-Seine prefecture announced on the evening of April 18 the closure of this busy section of motorway west of Paris for security reasons following “ground movements”. “A transverse crack in the A13 in the Saint-Cloud sector was observed,” she declared.

The A13 motorway connects Paris to Caen, in Normandy, passing south of Rouen. It is particularly used by Parisians wishing to go to the Normandy coast.

The State had committed to covering 50% of the A14 toll for carpoolers (vehicles with at least two passengers), only during the week and during peak hours, since May 6.
