BGH decision: Requirements for rent increases after modernization specified

If a landlord increases the rent after modernization, the tenant must receive the necessary information in order to be able to check this for plausibility. In formal terms, however, the hurdles should not be set too high, according to the Federal Court of Justice (BGH). Otherwise there is a risk that the landlord will not modernize at all. (Az.
