One of the companies that’s part of the trucking empire started by Bill Hall Jr. and his wife, Frances A. Hall, appears headed for liquidation.

Bill Hall Jr. Trucking Ltd. seeks to have its Chapter 11 reorganization case converted to a Chapter 7 liquidation, according to a court filing this week.

The company said it has attempted to reorganize its debts “but realizes that it will be unable to propose a confirmable plan of reorganization.”

Bill Hall Jr. was killed while riding his Harley Davidson in 2013. Police said Frances Hall chased him down and ran him off the road with her Cadillac Escalade. She was convicted of murder in September and is serving a two-year prison sentence.
