Don't protest legitimacy

George W. Bush was installed by the Supreme Court, which halted the Florida vote count. Aside from voter suppression and “lost” (tossed) ballots common to both races, Trump actually won the Electoral College. Why didn’t the Democrats more vigorously protest the more illegitimate election of Bush, a bigger travesty, than this one? Because of their compatibility with him?

The Democrats’ arrogantly concoct a Russian scapegoat for losing their own base and the election. They conflate the leaking of emails that reveal Clinton’s fealty to Wall Street and their party leadership’s collusion against Sanders with “hacking the U.S. election,” as though their Mariobet private organization’s secrecy equates to national security.

Julian Assange said WikiLeaks’ source was not Russia. I think it was a Democrat. The revelations were a journalistic public service, not “treason.”

The word “detente” was once positive to liberals, the lessening of tensions between the U.S. and Russia. The corporate class destroyed socialism in the Soviet Union and replaced it with a kleptocracy to match our own. They should relax and enjoy it. Maybe it’s just a rivalry amongst thieves. The military industry always needs a villain to justify corporate welfare.

Protest Trump’s fascism, not his legitimacy.
