The purchase of State Bills can be carried out in person at any Bank of Spain office, as well as on the official Treasury website and at associated financial institutions recognized by the Bank of Spain.
In order to plan investments, it is important to know the dates for submitting requests at the Bank of Spain offices. Bills from 3 to 9 months are auctioned on the fourth Tuesday of each month, while Bills from 6 to 12 months are auctioned on the third Tuesday of each month. In this way, in March 2023 the auction of 3 to 9 month Treasury Bills takes place on the 7th and the auction of 3 and 9 month Bills on the 14th.
