El Hormiguero Georgina Amorós tells how difficult it has been to get her last role: "I did seven castings"

Georgina Amorós visited El Hormiguero on Thursday, February 2 to promote her new series, All the Times We Fall in Love. The fiction in which she stars alongside Franco Masini will arrive on Netflix on February 14.

The actress told the Antena 3 space that it was very difficult for her to get the role of Irene in the production, despite knowing her creator. She had already coincided with Carlos Montero, responsible for the aforementioned title, in Elite. "I have read that you did seven castings. What do they ask you for in the fifth? Play the ukulele?" Pablo Motos asked.

The guest shared that it had been something "very curious" and highlighted that she had worked with the aforementioned creator for four seasons in Elite: "He knows me very well, but in the end it depends on many things that catch you. It not only depends on your talent, but also that you're a perfect fit for the character and that you mesh well with the other actors on the show."

The interpreter explained: "I did a lot of tests alone and then also a lot with the other male lead to see the chemistry. In the end, it is super important, and more in this story."

Pablo Motos wanted Georgina Amorós to reveal in El Hormiguero what goes through her head on her way back home after finishing a casting. The interviewee recalled that she started in the world of acting when she was very young and that her parents told her: "If they don't catch you, it's not because of you at all. It has nothing to do with your talent."

The Catalan declared: "I know that I give everything I can and it is something to take into account, because sometimes this profession is very frustrating. There are many things that are beyond our control... It depends on what you fit with the character, that the producer likes you, that you have visibility...".

"It's one of the most fucked up moments," said the actress about the times she's been turned down for a project she cared about. In addition, she said that she continues to take acting courses: "It's like my healing."
