After a good week on the German stock market so far, the leading index Dax opened on Friday with hardly any changes. In the first few minutes, it was down 0.09 percent at 13,650 points.

For the first week of August, a gain of a good one percent is emerging. The MDax for medium-sized companies was virtually stationary at .28,171 points. The leading eurozone index, the EuroStoxx 50, fell slightly.
