Pilar Rubio has signed for Telemadrid. The Madrilenian from Torrejón de Ardoz, will look for the best humorist in the Community of Madrid in the El Mejor program.
Throughout eight programs, comedians, joke tellers, monologues... will compete among themselves to show who is the best of all.
A jury made up of Esther Arroyo, Josema Yuste and Pablo Chiapella will determine which of them deserves the award.
Pilar Rubio has been "happy" to start this new project: "After having worked in general networks and platforms, I have always felt close to Telemadrid and, finally, the opportunity has arisen. It is synonymous with closeness to the people of Madrid" .
"I am in love with my Community," she says, "I always carry it in my heart and on my tattooed skin. Telemadrid has accompanied me ever since I was little. In fact, I was a big fan of the gastronomy section of Madrid Directo. I wanted to discover a new new restaurant in Madrid, it seemed like the ideal job".
The program produced by Mega TV, will be co-directed by Melisa Moya and Jordi Rosell, long-time directors.
El Mejor, according to Jordi Rosell "is a program to give visibility to the comedians of the Community of Madrid. A space to enjoy humor, a clandestine club where the best meet to share jokes and fun. The program is a window to this space where you can have a good time with all of them. A white format with the mission of entertaining and having a good time".
