Television The summer specials of High Voltage already have a date on Mediaset: this is how they will be

High Tension will be broadcast again in 'access prime time'. Mediaset has given the contest a new opportunity and has announced several specials that can be seen during the summer nights of 2022. The communication group is already promoting its premiere date, July 24 at 9:30 p.m. on Cuatro. The format will take place on Sunday night just one week after the end of the Cuarto Milenio season.

The space hosted by Christian Gálvez will remain from Monday to Friday at 3:00 p.m., but will add new deliveries on the last day of the week with a new schedule. The chain promotes them to the rhythm of In love everything is to start, by Raffaella Carrà.

"The formula to combat the heat on summer nights is to savor the specials of the most refreshing contest," indicates the promo for the new High Voltage broadcasts. In the video, some contestants appear in disguise, dancing and laughing. "Well, that's what this program has, that suddenly there are many little surprises," says its presenter in the piece.

High Tension is the adaptation of an American contest and landed in Spain at the end of the 90s. It did so on Antena 3 and with Constantino Romero at the helm. The format returned to the small screen with a new stage in August 2021. It started at night on Telecinco, reaching 'access prime time' at 10:00 p.m.

In September 2021, he jumped at 8:00 p.m. to compete against Pasapalabra. However, Mediaset did not take long to move the program to the mornings of Cuatro, where it was broadcast from 12:50. In May 2022, it changed hours once again and was moved to the 3:00 p.m. slot.

Mediaset has announced other novelties in its programming for the summer, in addition to the High Voltage specials. The communication group has decided to rescue the second edition of Idol Kids months after having removed it from its grill. The 'talent show' with Omar Montes, Ana Mena and Camela on the jury will return to Telecinco on Wednesday, July 20 at 10:45 p.m. It will fill the gap left by the end of Save Me Mediafest 2022.

On the other hand, Cuatro will premiere the series FBI: Most Wanted that same day and at the same time. This fiction of criminal investigations is an FBI 'spin-off'. Its cast includes Julian McMahon (Charmed), Kellan Lutz (Twilight saga) and Roxy Sternberg (Mars).
