The Benidorm Fest 2023 already has its eight finalists, after the galas broadcast on La 1 on Tuesday, January 31 and Thursday, February 2. The chosen ones will once again defend their proposals in the grand final on Saturday, February 4, in which it will be decided who represents Spain in Eurovision 2023.

The Madrid-born singer-songwriter presented Yo Quisiera, an intimate and careful composition with influences from dream pop. Her performance began with her interpreting a fragment a cappella and playing the piano, to later continue with a staging in which the clouds and the storm of the projections stood out. Alice Wonder achieved the second position in the first semifinal of the contest with 119 points.

The one who was a contestant on OT 2017 shone with Quiero Arder, a powerful song in which he showed off his voice and around which he prepared a colorful show. The realization, the choreography and the flames were other of the strong points of his presentation. Agoney was the winner of the first semifinal with 161 points.

The only repeat participant at the Benidorm Fest performed Eaea, a mix of lullaby, electronica and bulería. Her minimalist number, her vocal talent and the strength of her backup singers conquered both the public and the jury, which led her to be the winner of the second semifinal with 167 points.

The former Factor X contestant defends a fusion of trap, flamenco, hiphop and electronics at the Mi Familia festival. Her very long braid, a white car and a tribute to voguing are some of the ingredients of her heartfelt staging. She placed third in the first semifinal with 118 points.

Winters on Mars is the bet of this Canarian singer. It is a ballad that talks about the love story of his parents. He interpreted it in a choreographed number, loaded with intensity and drama. His work received 105 points in the second semifinal, reaching fourth place.

The artist from La Mancha claimed her roots and the landscapes of her land in the beautiful presentation of Quiero y duelo, a song that draws on folklore and traditional music. Karmento sang barefoot and acted out scenes from her childhood in the second semifinal, where she took bronze with 112 points.

Arcadia is the composition with which the group from Madrid intends to bring the style they call fucksia rock to the Eurovision stage. The band opted for a performance with a futuristic aesthetic to tell a virtual and dark story. Its members were in the first semifinal, where they were in fourth position with 111 points.

The Barcelonan did not disappoint the Eurofans with Nonchentera, one of the most chanted songs at the Benidorm Fest 2023. It is a catchy and disco song that she describes as "a hymn to happiness and the desire to enjoy life". Her number began with Vicco sitting in a dressing table and then a colorful party, in which dances and neon lights were not lacking. The artist obtained the silver medal in the second semifinal with 135 points.
