Spring weather or even early summer will be anticipated this Wednesday in the peninsular Mediterranean, the Ebro valley and Cantabrian areas, where thermometers will mark between 5 and 10 degrees more than normal for this time of year.
The prediction of the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet), collected by Servimedia, indicates that temperatures will rise in a generalized way, especially in the Mediterranean and Cantabrian provinces, except in the Canary Islands, where they will only vary.
It will be hotter in Murcia and Valencia (27 degrees); Girona and Zaragoza (25); and Alicante, Almería, Castellón de la Plana, Lleida and Santa Cruz de Tenerife (24). These are values more typical of May or June than of the first half of March.
On the other hand, the sky will be cloudy in the western half of the peninsula, with a probability of precipitation, more probable and intense in Galicia and northern Extremadura, and may even be locally strong or persistent in western Galicia.
Rainfall, weaker and more scattered, is not ruled out in the rest of the peninsula, with cloudy intervals except in the Mediterranean area, where the sun will shine. The Canary Islands will also have some intervals of clouds.
Finally, this Wednesday winds will blow from the west and southwest on the peninsula and the Balearic Islands, with strong intervals on the coast of Galicia and the north of Castilla y León.
