WhatsApp, from Meta Platforms, has agreed to be more transparent about changes introduced last year in updating its privacy policy, the European Commission said on Monday.
WhatsApp will make it easier for users to reject updates when they do not agree with them, and will clearly explain when such rejection leads to the user not being able to continue using their services, the community executive said in a statement.
