Actor Ernie Lively, Blake Lively's Dad, has died at 74

Actor Ernie Lively, who starred along with his daughter Blake Lively at the"Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants," has expired. He died in Los Angeles on Thursday of cardiac disorders, Entertainment Tonight reports.

Lively, who's from Baltimore, Maryland, was besieged with his wife and five children when he died, based on ET.

He and wife Elaine Lively had two kids together -- Blake and Eric -- and he embraced her three kids from a pervious marriage, Lori, Robyn and Jason.

The longtime celebrity appeared at the"Dukes of Hazzard" TV series,"The West Wing," and alongside Tom Hanks in"Turner and Hooch." In addition, he appeared in several TV shows like"The Waltons,""Hangin' with Mr. Cooper," and"Murder, She Wrote."

He played the father of Bridget Vreeland, Blake Lively's role in"Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants."

Lively suffered a heart attack in 2003, also has been treated with stem-cell treatment in November 2013 as a part of an experimental retrograde receptor process at University of Utah, based on Salt Lake Tribune.

Lively is survived by his spouse, kids, nine grandchildren and sister, Judith.
