During the raid on a suspected "Reich Citizens" terror network two weeks ago, there was also an arrest in Austria. The arrested German has now been transferred - and must be in custody in this country. His case stands out above all because of family connections to a professional footballer.

Two weeks after the major raid against a suspected terrorist network of Reich citizens, Austria extradited a prisoner to Germany. It is the well-known chef Frank Heppner, who also has family connections to ex-Bayern star David Alaba.

The investigating judge of the Federal Court of Justice executed the arrest warrant against Heppner on Wednesday, the federal prosecutor's office in Karlsruhe announced. Heppner has to be remanded in custody. He was arrested in Kitzbühel on December 7th.

On that day, the federal prosecutor's office and the police took action against the alleged conspirators who are said to have planned the violent overthrow of the democratic system. A total of 25 people were arrested as members or supporters of the association, 23 of them in Germany.

As reported in the Austrian media, the 62-year-old Heppner is said to belong to the group led by the ringleader Heinrich XIII. Heard Prince Reuss who was planning the overthrow in Germany. Accordingly, he should become a kind of food minister. Heppner is no stranger to prominent circles. His daughter Shalimar is in a relationship with soccer star David Alaba, who was under contract with Bayern Munich for many years and now plays for Real Madrid.

In total, two Germans were arrested abroad in the course of the raid - one in Italy and Frank Heppner in Austria. The former soldier arrested in Perugia, Italy, is also to be handed over to German justice in the near future.
