Operación Triunfo returns and it does so with an unprecedented experiment in Spain: it will be the first live program to be broadcast on a streaming platform. Prime Video becomes the new home for Operación Triunfo 2023, which will be presented by Chenoa and can be seen in weekly 90-minute galas, daily programs with current events from the academy and in a 24-hour programming through YouTube.
Although Operación Triunfo 2023 is not expected to premiere until the end of the year, this summer the castings will begin, a television genre in itself, which can be followed on YouTube and, with the new course, in two specials through Prime Video that will be presented to the 18 applicants for the zero gala.
The songs to participate in the casting will be part of "a closed menu" that will be "very soon" on Amazon Music, confirmed Tinet Rubira, director of Gestmusic Endemol.
The castings will start on July 3 in Barcelona and will close on September 19 in Madrid, yes, with a break "to vote and take vacations" in August. They will be directed, as in the last 22 years, by Noemí Galera, who will also repeat as director of the OT academy. In addition, there will be an online modality, OT Cover, which will allow you to avoid the very long queues.
The only requirements to participate are to be over 18 years of age and have a valid ID or residence permit. Besides singing, of course.

Operación Triunfo 2023 also offers an online modality that allows you to avoid the very long lines of face-to-face castings. To participate in OT Cover, you will have to record yourself singing a capella in a video with a maximum duration of 45 seconds, and post it on your personal Instagram or TikTok profile with the hashtag
