Around 24 hours after a mass brawl between clan members in Essen, new clashes broke out at the same place in the Altendorf district. As a police spokesman said, there were initially gatherings of around 30 people spread over Sunday. In the evening there were around 100 again. It was punched and kicked. The use of weapons was not found, and no injuries were found. There were several dismissals and arrests. As on the eve, one strongly assumes a clan connection. According to initial findings, no one was seriously injured, the police had the district under surveillance after the escalation on Saturday and quickly intervened.

On Saturday evening there were serious physical attacks between those involved - who, according to the police, used furniture and dishes, but also knives and sticks. A man was seriously injured by a knife. At least two other people were slightly injured in the clash in the Altendorf district. One of the two had "already been wanted as a suspect for a robbery offense that happened at noon today," the police wrote. The man was arrested after outpatient treatment, also on the basis of an existing arrest warrant."

Videos are circulating on social media showing the fight with chairs, among other things. According to "WAZ", the trigger should be the dispute between two large families of different nationalities, which is said to have been sparked by a Cologne music manager who has several rappers under contract. The man was insulted by a member of another clan.
