In Bremen, an eleven-year-old threatened a police officer with a knife. As the emergency services in the Hanseatic city announced, the minor belonged to a scout group that attracted attention due to alleged property damage. According to the police, the boy suddenly held a knife in front of a police officer in the chest, but was brought down and overpowered by the officer.

The incident happened on Saturday evening in downtown Bremen. Officers watched on video surveillance as members of a group of six scratched marks on a wall behind a police station. When emergency services arrived, two of the suspects, aged 11 to 14, fled. Three more were caught, including the eleven-year-old.

The police officer and the boy were unharmed. Knives were also found on the companions. The eleven-year-old was handed over to his parents, who were interviewed. Other offers of support were also made to them. It is determined because of attack on law enforcement officers, threats and property damage. The eleven-year-old is not yet of criminal age, the limit is 14 years.
