Evidence of violent death: woman's body discovered in Bremerhaven

While walking, a passer-by discovered the body of a woman in Bremerhaven. Initial indications that she was killed are confirmed in the course of the investigation. The police are now asking the public for help.

After the discovery of a woman's body in Bremerhaven, a police homicide commission is now investigating. The dead person found by a walker in an impassable area was "highly likely to have been the victim of a homicide," said the police in Bremerhaven. The finding situation and initial findings from the forensic examination had already suggested this.

In order to clarify the case, the murder commission set up by the Bremerhaven police asks for information from witnesses. Information about cars parked on the side of the road is of interest, as well as other conspicuous observations in the vicinity of the site over the past two weeks.

The body was discovered on Monday, but further details were only known after the autopsy that had taken place in the meantime. Accordingly, it is a woman who was apparently the victim of a crime. The identity of those killed is still unknown.
