The Hessian police track down two professional marijuana plantations and strike: four men are arrested and 55 kilos of drugs are confiscated. The suspects are accused of having professionally grown marijuana on a large scale.

The police in Hesse have discovered two professional marijuana plantations and 55 kilograms of drugs. Four suspects were arrested a week ago, according to the public prosecutor's office in Marburg, the State Criminal Police Office in Wiesbaden and the customs investigation office in Frankfurt am Main.

The 44 to 50-year-old men are said to belong to a gang that communicated via the "Anom" crypto platform. She is suspected of having operated professional marijuana plantations in Dautphetal in the Marburg-Biedenkopf district and in Kirberg/Hünfelden in the Limburg-Weilburg district. After intensive investigations, the investigators were initially able to arrest three of the four suspects on the two plantations.

The alleged head of the group was caught shortly afterwards in his apartment in Frankfurt. Arrest warrants were issued for all four last Thursday. The suspects are accused of gang-like cultivation and trafficking of cannabis in no small amount. About 55 kilograms of marijuana and 50 bags of cannabis trimmings were confiscated during the searches and forensic investigations.

One of the plantations, which contained more than 2,300 planters, had already been harvested. However, the suspects had already planted more than 300 new seedlings, and around 2,000 more were ready.
