Two young men died in an accident on federal highway 115 near Tschernitz in the Spree-Neisse district in Brandenburg. Four other occupants of the car were seriously injured - among them is an 18-year-old who is in mortal danger. The car left the roadway early on Sunday morning for reasons that are still unclear, crashed into a tree and broke apart, the Brandenburg police situation center said.
The 23-year-old driver and his passenger of the same age died immediately. Four other occupants between the ages of 18 and 20 were thrown out of the vehicle onto the street and seriously injured. They were taken to hospitals.
