Kanye Can Now Be Watched -- Perhaps -- Finish 'Donda’

Apple Music launched a livestream channel to stream Kanye West's forthcoming premiere of Donda. It will take place on Thursday, August 5th, at 8:00 PM. ET from Atlanta's Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

Apple Music's homepage advertised the stream as "Watch Kanye finish Dondain Atlanta". That's exactly what it seems to be doing. (It's impossible to know, though, because West is a perfectionist. The stream launched at 1:00 AM ET on Thursday. ET on Thursday: The stream, which was "intentionally muted" throughout, has shown West's small living space within Mercedes-Benz Stadium, where he is reportedly finishing his album. There's also a countdown clock hanging on the wall.

Complex reports that Chance the Rapper and Vic Mensa, Mike Dean and Fivio Foreign have all stopped by the room. (As of this writing, at 9:00 a.m. ET, Lil Yachty has also shown up, watching what looks like a different stream of the outside of Mercedes-Benz Stadium on a TV mounted to the wall.)

Kanye was seen previously positioning a microphone above his bed (the mattress has since been removed). He then did push-ups using a Dondavest that Lil Yachty, Vic Mensa and Vic Mensa also wear.

The bedroom livestream will continue until late tonight, when West will play his 10th album to the Mercedes-Benz Stadium crowd. Later, he will drop it onto streaming services.
