LOS ANGELES , -- This year's Grinch is threatening to steal Christmas gifts and cheer. Television is overstocked with holiday specials, rom-coms, and even the first Food Network movie.

It may be necessary to plan your viewing of old favorites like 1965's "A Charlie Brown Christmas". PBS will broadcast the classic Peanuts special, and Apple TV+ will provide a free three-day viewing window.

The Food Network's debut on corporate sibling discovery+ is the twist to its film. This streaming service, like other streaming services, also offers a free trial. Enjoy the gift as long as it lasts, just like Santa Claus scoring courtesy cookies.

Below are some suggestions for what you can watch while sipping on nog or nibbling on roasted nuts -- if they're available in stores. All times are Eastern.

MOVIETIME

BET+ is streaming "A Rich Christmas" now. When she is forced to work in a shelter for the homeless, a self-absorbed socialite gains a new perspective. Tyler Abron and Bill Bellamy are stars.

Friday, November 19. "Candy Coated Christmas," discovery+ Molly McCook portrays a female executive whose life is thrown off course when she visits Peppermint Hollow. Ree Drummond, Food Network's "The Pioneer Woman") portrays the local baker.

"A Kindhearted Christmas," GAC Family, Saturday, November 20. A woman wants to be like her husband and bring joy to others. Jennie Garth stars.

Sunday, November 21st, Hallmark Channel's "A Kiss Before Christmas", Marilu Henner, Teri Hatcher, James Denton and Teri Denton star in this story about a man who finds the life he wants and then tries to get it back.

Bounce, Sunday, November 21st, 8 p.m. Paige Hurd, a young woman who was abandoned as an infant, explores her past with the help of her boyfriend Romeo Miller and an investigative genealogist.

Fox Nation, Thursday Nov. 25, "Romance in the Wilds", To escape a wildfire, a forest ranger and geologist (Kaitlyn Leeb, Victor Zinck Jr. Does love ignite? They also appear in Fox Nation's Christmas in the Wilds, which is out the same day.

Lifetime, 8 pm Friday, November 26. Joe (John Schneider), Georgia (McEntire), and Joe (John Schneider), broke up years ago as a singing couple. However, their daughter is interested in a reunion to benefit charity.

"Christmas Again," Disney Channel Friday, December 3. Rowena, a teenage girl, is seen living the holiday over again after she wishes that her parents would divorce. Scarlett Estevez stars.

It's a Wonderful Life, NBC, 8 p.m. Saturday and Friday, December 4th and 24th, respectively. Jimmy Stewart plays a depressed man who discovers value in his life through Clarence, an aspiring angel.

"Our Christmas Journey," Hallmark Movies & Mysteries at 10:01 p.m. on Saturday, December 4. Holly Robinson Peete plays the role of a single mother who must create a new chapter for her son with autism, and herself. Peete is married to Rodney Peete (an ex-NFL quarterback) and they have a son with autism. On Twitter, the actor stated that she had been wanting to make a movie about #autism families making changes at #Christmas since a long time.

"The Christmas Thief," ION Television at 8 p.m. Sunday Dec. 5. A local detective confronts a novice private eye who is home for the holidays, and trying to solve burglaries attributed to Santa Claus. Michelle Borth, Vivica A. Fox co-stars

"iHeartRadio Holiday Special," The iHeartRadio app and YouTube pages. 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 24. Mario Lopez hosts a virtual show featuring Train, Kelly Clarkson and Michael Buble.

ABC's "CMA Country Christmas," Monday, November 30, 9 p.m. Kelsea Bellerini ("Santa Baby") Gabby Barrett ("The First Noel") Lady A ("Wonderful Christmastime"), Little Big Town ("Christmas Time is Here") are some of the performers and songs.

"Kelly Clarkson Presents when Christmas Comes Around," NBC at 10 p.m. Wednesday December 1. Clarkson hosts a special which features music, celebrations tradition, and helps those in need.

Christmas Under the Stars, BYUtv at 7 p.m. on Sunday, December 5, and via the BYUtv App. Pentatonix, an a cappella group, mixes familiar tunes and carols to create songs from "Evergreen," its holiday album.

"Michael Buble’s Christmas in the City," NBC. 10 p.m. Monday Dec. 6 and Wednesday Dec. 22. This pop singer celebrates the 10th anniversary his album "Christmas" featuring music and comedy.

"20 Years of Christmas with Tabernacle Choir" PBS, Monday Dec. 13 and Friday Dec. 24 (check your local listing for times). Brian Stokes Mitchell presents a retrospective of performances by Kristin Chernoweth, Audra McDonald and many other artists.

STOCKING STUFFERS

"A Charlie Brown Christmas" is now available on Apple TV+ (free Dec. 11-13), and on PBS Sunday Dec. 19 (check your local listings for the time). Is Christmas about the good or the bad? Charlie Brown is unable to answer this question.

"Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer", CBS, 8 p.m. Monday Nov. 22. This 1964 special features a reindeer who discovers that being different is worth it. It's based upon the Johnny Marks song, and narrated in 1964 by Burl Ives.

Mary McCartney Serves it Up, discovery+, Tuesday 23 November. The British cookbook author enjoys four new holiday episodes where she cooks vegetarian meals with her dad Paul McCartney and Oprah Winfrey.

"How the Grinch Stole Christmas," NBC 8 p.m., Friday, Nov. 26, and Saturday, December 25. Boris Karloff, horror movie star and king of horror movies, was Dr. Seuss’ infamous Grinch in the timeless 1966 cartoon.

"'''Twas The Fight Before Christmas," Apple TV+ Friday, November 26. This documentary is about a neighborhood in Idaho that became a battlefield for a man obsessed with Christmas and his enemies, aka other homeowners.

CBS, Sunday Dec. 5, 9 p.m. The special's 23rd anniversary broadcast features inspiring stories from children adopted from foster care. It also features performances by pop musicians.
