No tests, no controls: travel to Mallorca again like before Corona

Whether to the Ballermann or to Barcelona: People from other EU countries no longer need test results or vaccination certificates to enter Spain. Entry from Switzerland and other Schengen countries will also be easier in the future.

If you want to spend your summer holiday in Mallorca and are traveling from Germany or another EU country, you don't have to show test results or a vaccination certificate from now on. This also applies to people from the Schengen area. That writes the "Mallorcazeitung" and refers to the state official gazette. So entry into all of Spain is working again as it did before the pandemic.

The high vaccination rate in Spain together with the good situation of the health system make this step possible, explains the Spanish Ministry of Health in the Official Journal. It also refers to the situation in other EU countries. In the case of a comparable risk situation, travel restrictions have already been lifted in many places.

People arriving from outside the EU or the Schengen area may still have to undergo health checks: "On arrival, they can be subjected to a check that at least includes measuring their body temperature, checking their ID and a visual check of their physical condition includes", according to the "Mallorcazeitung" in the official gazette.
