Search campaign so far without success: 25-year-old disappears without a trace after the festival

He wants to party with his friends on Friday evening to brass band music. But then Tobias Dreiseitel disappears without a trace. The Bavarian police are looking for the 25-year-old with helicopters and sniffer dogs - without success. Meanwhile, his girlfriend is desperately reporting on social media.

Where is Tobias Dreiseitel from Eichenried? The 25-year-old has been missing since Friday evening, according to the police in Bavaria. According to the police report, he went to the "Brass Wiesn" festival in Eching with friends on Friday. "Around 9 p.m., the friends lost touch. A little later, the telephone contact also broke off. Since then, there has been no trace of Mr. Dreiseitel," the officials write.

Because his friends could no longer reach him, they reported Dreiseitel to the police as missing. A large search operation followed, in which a helicopter, the lifeguard and a dog unit were also involved. But the search, which lasted until the early hours of the morning, was unsuccessful, according to the police.

Now the officials are looking for the 25-year-old with a public call. According to the police report, Dreiseitel was wearing a wine-red Hawaiian shirt and brown leather pants at the time of his disappearance. He is about 175 centimeters tall and has a slim build. He has brown-green eyes, short, dark brown hair with a side parting and was last seen wearing an S-Oliver necklace. According to the "Bild" newspaper, the search measures on Monday had to be discontinued without success.

Meanwhile, Dreiseitel's girlfriend has launched a desperate call for help on social media. One of her posts says that he bought a beer at a beer tent just before 11 p.m. on Friday. The site then had to be cleared due to the storm. Dreiseitel was then "seen heavily intoxicated at the entrance to the campsite" again. "He was injured," she writes.

The girlfriend's call has already been shared thousands of times. And yet: "So far we have no reliable knowledge of where the young man could be and we will expand the search," said a spokesman for the police department in Upper Bavaria North on Monday. The police spokesman did not want to comment on assumptions and speculation about what could have happened that evening. There is no evidence that the young man was involved in an accident.

Witnesses who can give an indication of Tobias Dreiseitel's current whereabouts are asked to contact the Neufahrn Police Inspectorate on 08165/9510-0.
