Antena 3 broadcast a new installment of El Hormiguero on Tuesday, May 2. Hugo Silva, who attended the program to present the series Pollos sin cabeza, received criticism from a Vox politician for his appearance in the format.
Martín Ruiz, who in his Twitter biography defines himself as a "communicator and politician" and claims to be part of Vox Santander, charged Silva for his appearance. "I just saw the good Hugo Silva in El Hormiguero. Is it really necessary, essential, to go without combing your hair, with a beach shirt and like someone who gets up from a hangover, to television programs? Is it more 'progressive' betting because of neglect and aesthetic ugliness?" he wrote on the social network.
The interpreter did not hesitate to answer, so he quoted the tweet and simply added: "Yes." In response to the comment about his clothing, Silva revealed that his shirt was from the Rufina Ó brand. In addition, some users also responded to Ruiz. "Aesthetic ugliness does not exist in this man. Never," said an Internet user. "He can go in his pajamas if he wants," said another tweeter. "He is very handsome. You are still a little envious," reads another publication.
It seems that Silva has no problem when it comes to positioning himself ideologically and last February he publicly threw a dart at a Vox deputy. María de la Cabeza Ruiz Solás made a speech in the Congress of Deputies in which she opposed the trans law and spoke of an increase in homosexuals and transsexuals in Spain, the result of government indoctrination.

During his time at El Hormiguero, Silva talked about Pollos sin cabeza. "It's a series set in the world behind soccer. It's a hooligan, funny, super-fast comedy, that you drink it, with very short chapters and a lot of rhythm," he said.
In addition, Pablo Motos revealed that the character was written specifically for Silva. "It is the second time that this has happened to me in my career and the truth is that it is a hoot. Everything happens to the character," he said.
