Carlota Corredera visited the program Gente Maravillosa of Radio Televisión Canaria on March 20. The communicator, who went to the format to talk about harassment on social networks, received a surprise from some of the former colleagues from Save me from her.
"We are very vulnerable and we are in a situation of absolute fragility, the people we are known for," he said about cyberbullying. "That is violence, we cannot call it otherwise. Bullying is school violence and hate in the networks is violence in the networks. I think it is important that we talk about it because there are people who think that because you go out on the television, because you are a well-known person, they feel they have the right to insult you, to say that not only do they not like your work, but they do not want to see you, to wish you bad things," he added.
Eloísa González, host of the format, told Corredera that she had a surprise for her on her screen, and at that moment several of Carlota's friends and family appeared by video call. Among them were Belén Esteban and David Valldeperas, his former colleagues from Sálvame.
"Oh, please. There are people I love very much there. I don't know where to start because I love them all very much," he commented through tears. "Belén is crying," González exclaimed. "Belén crying, it can't be, please," added Corredera. "If I haven't said someone's name, please don't get angry, because I'm super excited right now. Belén, don't cry. The title of the program is just like the people who are there, because they are wonderful people," added the guest.
In the program, Corredera told how his life changed thanks to Sálvame. "Once you get in front of the cameras, you're never ready," she acknowledged. "It was very difficult for me, being anonymous, to understand that not everyone can like you," she confessed.
"Not everyone can like you, of course not, but from there there are people who, from anonymity, in a cowardly way, things that they would surely be incapable of saying to me face to face, say them through a screen, it's tremendous", lamented the interviewee.
