First Dates announced last March the signing of Laura Boado, who has joined the program team as a waitress. She is in charge of covering the gap left by the departure of Lidia Torrent.
The Galician is a model who became known on television thanks to another Mediaset program. She was one of the protagonists of the sixth edition of La Isla de las Tentaciones. The young woman went to the 'reality' show with her boyfriend, Alejandro Pérez, whom she had met in a beauty pageant. Fans of the format were able to see her breakup at the final stake and how she began a relationship with one of her singles, Saúl Pina.
Boado affirms that she has been a fan of First Dates since its premiere. "It is a dream for me to be in a program like this... I want to take advantage of this incredible opportunity that they have given me to grow personally and professionally in a program that I love," he shared in a statement collected by the Cuatro website.
After starting with the recordings, she was very happy: "I get up excited every day to go to work, the atmosphere is wonderful and I enjoy accompanying people on their dates, helping them, as much as I can, to find love" .

Laura Boado debuted on First Dates in the installment broadcast on Monday, May 29, in which the format had a new header. "We are very happy because a new partner is starting to work with us," said Carlos Sobera to introduce the Galician. "Oh, how beautiful, how cool, I love it," she said upon entering the restaurant.
The waitress was happy to see the connection that had emerged between Mayte and Vicente, one of the first couples she served. The singles walked off laughing and blurted out: "We've fallen in love!" The ex-participant of The Island of Temptations 6 added: "I love them, this program is the host."
