PHILADELPHIA -- The next Philadelphia Eagles game may not kick off until September, but the team is already preparing for a spirited season.
Open auditions for the Eagles Cheerleader squad begin on March 18, but interested ladies can get a head start on the competition at two upcoming workshops aimed to prepare potential contestants for the contest.
At the Dance Prep Workshop on Tuesday ($45), participants will learn a variety of techniques to improve their overall dance approach and floor choreography. This session is perfect for those interested in learning and understanding the Eagles cheerleaders-style choreography.
Participants in the Audition Prep workshop on Wednesday (also $45, $75 for both workshops) will have an opportunity to learn the same dance routine that will be judged during open auditions March 18.
This workshop will give contestants a better understanding of what the judges are looking for, how the open call audition will be conducted, and how the scoring process works. Make up experts will also be available to explain the appropriate style for a successful audition.Philadelphia Eagles cheerleaders perform during a game against the Atlanta Falcons at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Sunday, Nov. 13, 2016.
