We will never know who shot Jack and other Virgin River burning question

The Netflix series launched its third season on July 9. It featured 10 episodes filled with twists, turns and surprises that left viewers with more questions than answers. After Jack's recovery from shooting, Mel (Alexandra Breckinridge), seemed to be on the right track to a happy ending. However, she declared her desire to have children, which led to them breaking up and trying IVF again.

Hope (Annette O'Toole and Doc Matheson were finally getting ready for a recommitment ceremony. But a hurricane and the health of her aunt kept Hope M.I.A for most of the season. She survived until a car accident left her with a serious brain injury that could have been fatal.

Preacher (Colin Lawrence), continued to look after Christopher (Chase Petriw), with the added threat from Wes's brother Vince. At the end of season, Preacher was knocked out by Paige's "friend", Vince who was waiting for Connie (Nicola Cavendish), and Christopher.

Next, Jack's sister, Brie (Zibby Alley), is the new face of Virgin River. After suffering a severe sexual assault, she came to Virgin River to heal her broken heart. But, along the way, Brady (Benjamin Hollingsworth) became her soul mate. As Jack is shot, Brie begins to wonder if she has fallen for the wrong man again.

The entire town is in mourning for Lilly (Lynda) Boyd.
