The Court number 37 of the city of Madrid has accepted for consideration the complaint filed by the police union Alternative trade Union of Police (ASP) against the comedian Dani Mateo, after blowing the nose in the Spanish flag during a 'sketch' in 'The middle' of The Sixth, as reported by the Superior Court of Justice of Madrid said in a statement.
This organization filed the complaint with the understanding that the comedian comitió "a crime of insult or outrage to symbols of Spain or its Communities is carried out with publicity, in relation to article 543 of the Criminal Code and of a hate crime, provided by article 510.
The magistrate will take declaration to the person concerned as investigated next Monday, November 26 from 11:30 hours.
Matthew and the program which issued the gag apologized , but this has not prevented neither the complaint, nor that several brands to withdraw advertising contracts they had signed with the comedian.
