A California Parole Board has voted for the parole of Leslie Van Houten, a former follower of the notorious "Manson Family". The recommendation was passed on Thursday a consultation of seventy-year-olds in Chino advance. Whether or not Van Houten comes after nearly 50 years in prison, decides now is the Governor of California, Gavin Newsom.
With other members of the "Manson Family" the opportunity criminal Charles Manson had attacked Van Houten in the summer of 1969 the couple, Rosemary and Leno LaBianca in their home in Los Feliz in Los Angeles. The then nineteen-year-old stabbed 16 Times on Rosemary LaBianca a, a few times even after the death of the woman. Manson's gang had chosen the couple at random, to the bestial murders of the actress Sharon Tate and her friends the night before, as Serientat appear.
