Fight against Corona: Joko and Klaas dedicate their program “Who is stealing the show from me?” deceased Doctor Kellermayr

The Austrian doctor Lisa-Maria Kellermayr was her "long-time companion", as it was at the beginning of the program "Who is stealing the show?" the entertainer was Joko Winterscheidt and Klaas Heufer-Umlauf.

Kellermayr was self-sacrificingly involved in the fight against Corona: She enlightened people, vaccinated in extra shifts alongside her work in her own practice. For this reason, she was threatened by opponents of vaccination for months. She became an object of hate on the Internet and received specific threats in her practice.

The doctor was often a guest on the programs by Joko and Klaas, according to the post by the two entertainers, which was also published on Instagram. During the corona pandemic, she was committed “to the need for vaccination” and was therefore targeted by radical corona deniers and so-called lateral thinkers.

Kellermayr "regularly received explicit and detailed death threats" and the operation of her practice was repeatedly disrupted. Her call for help was "met with a lack of understanding and inaction by the responsible authorities," the article said. The police in Austria had defended themselves against allegations that they had reacted too laxly.

As the star reports, Kellermayr's situation got out of hand at some point: the doctor was on the verge of personal bankruptcy and had to close her practice for the time being. She invested too much money in safety precautions. Nobody from politics or even the protection of the constitution would have helped her. On her homepage she dealt openly with the threats of vaccination opponents. She told the star: "Under these most adverse conditions, I have done everything to ensure medical care for the patients entrusted to me. That is now over for the time being. The security costs exceed the profit of a family doctor's practice many times over."

Joko and Klaas have also repeatedly taken a stand in the corona pandemic: They gave Olaf Scholz (SPD) a stage shortly before he took office as Chancellor after they had appeared on their show "Joko

Kellermayr also appealed to people and recommended vaccination. The hate that she attracted to herself was her undoing. On Friday at 1:05 p.m., the Austrian newspaper "Krone" was the first to report: "No third-party fault. Doctor found dead in her practice."
