Bad news for Stromae fans: the Belgian artist is forced to cancel three dates "for medical reasons", his producers announced on Wednesday March 22, 2023. These are the concerts that the Brussels singer was to give at the Zénith de Strasbourg this Wednesday evening, as well as those scheduled for Thursday and Friday in Amnéville, in Moselle, specify in a press release the company Auguri Productions (the artist's turner) and the Mosaert label.
Ticket holders are invited to approach the points of sale of their ticket for a refund.
At 38, he is one of the most prominent French-speaking artists. His new opus, Multitude, was awarded the title of best album at the Victoires de la Musique in February. Stromae, he had been awarded the Victory of the male artist of the year.
This is not the first time that Stromae has been kept away from his fans for medical reasons. The singer had to take a long break, caused by a burnout, after having chained the concerts for the album of his consecration: Racine Carrée, released in 2013. He was then back on stage in 2022.
He is currently touring Europe, with dates scheduled until December 2023. According to the site that lists them, he is due to perform on stage on March 29 and 30 at the Zénith de Nantes.
