Lady Gaga: Dog kidnapper sentenced to four years in prison

In February 2021, there was a bloody attack on Lady Gaga's (36) dog sitter. Two four-legged friends were stolen. Now one of the kidnappers has been sentenced to prison, as reported by several US media. The 20-year-old faces four years in prison for robbery. After the dogs were kidnapped, three men were charged, including the 20-year-old.

Dog sitter Ryan Fischer was shot and killed in the robbery. The suspected shooter was already in custody, but the police wrongly released him in April this year because of an administrative error. Two authorities searched for the suspect for four months.

The 19-year-old has now been arrested in the city of Palmdale, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department announced on Thursday. He is accused of attempted murder.

The United States Marshals Service previously offered a $5,000 reward for information leading to his arrest.

The three kidnappers had kidnapped two of Lady Gaga's dogs, Koji and Gustav, after Ryan Fischer was attacked in February. The third four-legged friend, named Miss Asia, escaped the men and returned to the wounded dog sitter.

Police believe the suspects didn't target the dogs because of their famous owner. French bulldogs are a desirable breed that can sell for thousands of dollars.
