The Belgian singer Stromae, currently on tour, must give up three concerts in Nantes (western France) this week, after having already had to cancel three dates last week, his producers announced on Wednesday. "Stromae's state of health again does not allow him to perform the three concerts scheduled for this week at the Zenith in Nantes, from March 29 to 31. We are therefore forced to cancel these three performances," Auguri Productions said in a statement.
The 38-year-old from Brussels, very popular in France, is currently on a European tour to promote his album "Multitude", released a year ago. He returned to the stage in the summer of 2022 after a long period of absence caused by a burnout when he chained concerts for the album of his consecration, "Racine Carrée", released in 2013.
Last week, its producers had justified by "medical reasons" the cancellation of three concerts in the east of France.
