City’s winter heat wave won’t last long

New Yorkers busted out tank tops and sunscreen alongside melting chunks of snow to bask in 68-degree weather Friday — but the clear skies didn’t last long. Saturday will be rainy with a high of 67, and temperatures go down to a high in the mid-40s by Sunday, according to AccuWeather.

On Friday, it was actually 16 degrees hotter in New York City than in LA.

“The weather in NYC is so good, the women are cat-calling the construction workers,” one comedian tweeted.

Lucas Taylor, 18, of Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn, donned shorts. “We just had a snow day last week,” he said. “It’s definitely very weird.”

Temperatures later Saturday will drop to a low of 38 degrees with rain and some thunder.
