CLEVELAND, Ohio -- The 2017 Lenten season begins on Wednesday, March 1, and, this year, a handful of organizations are kicking off their fish frys on Ash Wednesday instead of waiting for the first Friday. Fish frys are one of the most popular fundraising events for Northeast Ohio churches, schools and civic organizations.
This year's list includes 80 listings for fish frys throughout the Greater Cleveland area.
