CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Comedian Gabriel Iglesias has canceled his performance scheduled for Thursday at the State Theatre in Cleveland's Playhouse Square.
A news release from Playhouse Square said: "Gabriel has always been grateful for the loyalty and support from his fans and it is very important to him that he performs when he is at his best, which why he needs some time to refocus and recharge from his intense travel and work schedules."
Refunds will be given. For tickets purchased with credit cards, refunds will appear on statements within a week to 10 days, according to Playhouse Square. Those who purchased in cash will receive a check two weeks after the refund has been processed.

Iglesias intends to reschedule the performance.
