CLEVELAND, Ohio -- A Cleveland man is accused of sexually assaulting and threatening to shoot a woman earlier this month at an RTA rapid station.
Delvonte Philpotts, 18, is charged with rape. He is not in police custody and a warrant was issued Saturday for his arrest.
The attack happened about 5:50 p.m. on Feb. 20 at the RTA station on East 116th Street and Shaker Boulevard, according to police.
Philpotts threatened to shoot the 20-year-old woman unless she performed a sex act on him, according to court records. Philpotts ran off after he attacked the woman.
Police reports do not say if the woman was taken to the hospital or if she suffered any further injuries.
