CLEVELAND, Ohio - Whether you refer to them as your posse, your crew or #SquadGoals, we all want our best friends or special family members at our sides when experiencing fun times or life's disappointments.
Even though we asked readers entering Greater Cleveland's Cutest Cat contest to send separate photos of each of their kitties, we received several entries of multiple cats in one photo. The owners explained their cats were best of friends and inseparable.
Though our judges considered each cat on individual merit for the Top 100 finalists, we didn't have the heart to separate them photographically. Check out the photo gallery above to see the best #SquadGoals photos sent in.

While we Betmatik won't be announcing the Top 100 finalists until March 15 -- because let's face it, paring 3,500 cats down to just 100 is hard work -- our judges are recognizing several adorable kitties in all sorts of categories.
The cat superlative categories will include best paws, prettiest eyes, prettiest fur, cutest smile/tongue, best mustache, best dressed, best Cleveland sports fan, cutest sleeping cat, best expression, most unique markings, cats we most want to cuddle with and cats who made us laugh out loud.
We will share these special category winners with you in photo galleries, which will run between now and March 15.
Please be aware selection as category winners does not guarantee a cat will be chosen for the Top 100 Cutest Cat finalists.
Note to dog lovers: cleveland.com will once again conduct a contest to find the Cutest Dog in Northeast Ohio. It will be conducted during the summertime. More details will be announced at cleveland.com/best in the coming months.
