lawyers have criticised the reaction of left politicians to the judgment of the Thuringian constitutional court of the so-called parity law. An allegation had been that the judgment had come, mainly, because the majority of the judges of the constitutional court as a male. The President of the bar Association of Thuringia, Jan Helge Kestel, said the F. A. S.: "attacks that draw the court's legitimacy in doubt, do not accept." When the gender of a judge as "the sole basis of his decision, then that is the delegitimization of the courts on the crown". Kestel stressed that constitutional court judges were already a political balance, rather than following to the office. This is already a guarantee for a balanced decision.
